DIN EN 16723-1 has been developed by CEN/TC 408 and is based on mandate order M 475 issued by the European Union. Objective of the work is the development of a standard for the specification of requirements and test methods for biomethane which it shall adhere to at the point of injection in order to be injected into existing natural gas grids.
