Summary
This European Standard deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events which are relevant to circular-saw benches (with and without sliding table), dimensions saws and building site saws, designed to cut solid wood, chipboard, fibreboard, plywood and also these materials where they are covered with plastic edging and/or plastic/light alloy laminates. The requirements of this European Standard apply to stationary and transportable machines.
Notes
DIN EN 1870-1 (2007-07) remains valid alongside this standard until 2009-12-28.
