Summary
This document deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events which are relevant to pendulum cross-cut sawing, designed to cut solid wood, chipboard, fibreboard, plywood and also these materials when covered with plastic edging and/or plastic/light alloy laminates. Any workpiece positioning equipment fitted to the machine is included in this European Standard. For Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines this European Standard does not cover the hazards related to Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC).
