Summary
This European Standard specifies all significant hazards, hazardous situation and events,relevant to stationary and displaceable manual horizontal cutting cross-cut circular sawing machines with one saw unit (manual radial arm saws), hereinafter referred to as ""machines"", designed to cut solid wood,chipboard, fibreboard, plywood and also these materials if they are covered with plastic edging and/or plasticlaminates, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer including reasonably foreseeable misuse.
