DIN EN 1870-4:2012-06

This document deals with all the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events, which are relevant to stationary multiblade rip sawing machines, designed to cut solid wood, chipboard, fibreboard, plywood and also these materials, if they are covered with plastic edging and/or plastic/light alloy laminates, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer including reasonably foreseeable misuse. This document does not apply to machines with vertical roller feed or vertical chain conveyor feed or machines designed to make the first rip cut on a log.
