Summary
According to EN 1993-4-2 certain parameters may be defined by the national CEN member bodies. This amendment clarifies that the recommended consequence classes of EN 1993-4-2 do not apply, but the national defined consequence classes in NDP of 2.2 (1). From the accompanying comments to the first draft standard advanced important amendments arose. This requested a second draft standard. The amendments compared to the first draft standard affect the new definitions of the consequence classes in NDP to 2.2 (1) and the subsequent amendments in Table NA.1 ""Recommended values for the partial factors for actions on tanks for persistent and transient design situations and for accidental design situation"".
