Summary
This standard serves for the endorsement of the English version of the European Standard EN 301489-34 published by ETSI. It contains specific requirements for external power supplies (EPS) for mobile phones. The relevant specifications are taken over via reference to the general EMC standard EN 301489-1 while the present standard specifies the specific measurement and test methods, test conditions and performance criteria for the equipment that fall into its scope. In addition the uplink test frequencies are listed in annex B. The English version of EN 301489-34 is available from the ETSI homepage.
