Summary

This European Standard specifies the requirements, test methods, information supplied by the manufacturer, marking and packaging for energy absorbers. Energy absorbers according to this European Standard are used in fall arrest systems specified in EN 363 either integrated in a lanyard or in combination with a lanyard ready for use. Fall arresters are specified in EN 353-1, EN 353-2 and EN 360.
