This European Standard specifies the requirements, test methods, information supplied by the manufacturer, marking and packaging for full body harnesses. Other types of body support, specified in other European Standard, may be incorporated into the full body harness. Fall arrest systems are specified in EN 363. Rescue harnesses are specified in EN 1497.
