Summary
This standard specifies requirements for chemical and physical properties of fly ash with or without co-combustions which is a by-product of burning coal in power plants and which is used as type II addition in concrete. Furthermore requirements for production control are specified.This standard includes an Annex Z.A which gives provisions based on the mandate M/128 related to the distribution of the CE-mark.

DIN EN 450 (1995-01) remains valid alongside this standard until 2006-08-01.
