Summary
Shielded balanced cables having twin inner conductors are being used extensively in North America and Europe in data processing systems. These cables are used to interconnect parts of computer systems which feature 2-pole screw (3/4-20 UNEF) couples connnectors having an inner diameter of outer conductor (IDOC) of 13,56 mm. These connectors (Type TWHN) originated in the United States and the original dimensions are inches. Only the mating face details and gauge information are included for standardization.
