Detail specifications not complying with these requirements may not be considered as being in aCcordance with IEC-specifications nor shall they be so described.

DIN 45910-171 (1991-05) and DIN IEC 60384-9-1 (1993-01) remain valid alongside this standard until 2008-05-01.
