DIN EN 60424-2:2013-05

This part of IEC 60424 provides guidance on the allowable limits of surface irregularities applicable to RM-cores in accordance with the relevant generic specification. This standard should be considered as a sectional specification useful in the dialogue between ferrite core manufacturers and customers about surface irregularities. Because no IEC standard yet exist that addresses surface irregularities for EP Cores or for Pot Cores, this part of IEC 60424 can be applied, where applicable, and where agreed, by manufacturers and customers.
