The document is the first one of the series of the IEC-Publication 645 ""audiometers"" and covers the requirements for pure tone audiometers for which it specifies primarily requirements designed for use in determining hearing threshold levels in comparison with the standard reference threshold level by means of psychoacoustic test methods.
