Summary
This part of IEC 61169, which is a sectionel specification (SS), provides information and rules for the preparation of detail specifications (DS) for RF coaxial connectors which may preferably be used with RF cables 60096 IEC 50-3 of IEC 60096-2. These connector patterns are for low power, quick connect/disconnect applications using a bayonet type coupling mechanism and are commonly known as type 'BNC'.
