Summary
This part of IEC 61300 is a method to measure the switching time and related parformance parameters of an optical switch when the actuation energy is applied or removed to change the state of the switch.

DIN EN 61300-3-21 (1998-11) remains valid alongside this standard until 2018-12-18.*A transition period, as set out in DIN EN IEC 61300-3-21 (2021-05), exists until 2020-10-25.
