Summary
This standard specifies the dimensions that are of importance for mechanical interchangeability for a preferred range of RM cores and low profile RM cores made of magnetic oxides, and the locations of their terminal pins on a 2,54 mm printed wiring grid in relation to the base outlines of the cores. It also specifies the test conditions and clamping forces to be used for inductance measurement.
Notes
DIN EN 60431 (1998-05) and DIN EN 60431/A2 (1999-04) remain valid alongside this standard until 2008-10-01.*A transition period, as set out in DIN EN IEC 63093-4 (2019-11), exists until 2022-04-12.
