Summary
It is the pressure equipment manufacturers responsibility to assure that materials for pressure equipment comply with the requirements of the relevant pressure equipment material standard. This document describes how this shall be applied to materials intended for the manufacturing of pressure parts and attachments to pressure parts. A summary of the routes for compliance and inspection documentation is shown in figure 1-1.
