Summary

This document specifies all significant hazards, hazardous situation and events relevant to stationary and displaceable hand fed surface planing machines fitted or not with demountable power feed unit designed to cut solid wood, chipboard, fibreboard and plywood when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer. This document is not applicable to hand fed surface planing machines which are manufactured before the date of its publication as EN.
