Summary

This European Standard deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situation and events relevant for surface planing and thicknessing machines with an integrated feed and with manual loading and unloading of the workpiece. The cutterblock is fixed in position and for thicknessing an integrated feed is provided. The machines are designed to cut solid wood, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer.
