Summary
The document contains safety requirements for piling equipment suitable for construction of foundations, slurry walls, retaining walls for removal of piles and for installation of drain- or injection elements. The document deals with significant hazards pertinent to piling equipment when used under the following conditions: transport, rigging and dismantling, in service, moving between pile positions and storage. The document applies also to diaphragm walling equipment for which special safety requirements are given in Annex C. The informative Annex E contains information for grouting and injection equipment for use in the foundation industry.
