Summary
This standard specifies safety requirements and their verification for design and construction of hand-held integrally powered hedge trimmers which are designed for trimming hedges and bushes one or more linear reciprocating cutter blades. The standard contains measurement methods and operating conditions for the determination of noise and vibration. This standard also includes long reach hedge trimmers.
