Summary

This standard describes a volumetric method for the determination of silver in silver jewellery alloys, prefered in the range of fineness, as shown in ISO 9202. Theses alloys may contain copper, zinc, cadmium, and palladium. Apart from palladium, which has to be precipited prior to the titration, do these elements not disturb the method. Tihs method is a reference methode for the determination of alloys as described in ISO 9202.
