Summary
This standard describes a method for the determination of platine in platine jewellery alloys, prefered in the range of fineness as stated in ISO 9202. The determination is performed due inductive coupled plasma optical emmission spectrometrie (ICP-OES). This method applied to platine jewellery alloys, which may contain silver, indium, iridium, gallium, copper, cobalt, nickel, tin, and ruthenium. Thid method is a referenc method for the determination of the fineness in alloys up to 990 promille, as stated in ISO 9202.
