Summary

The document specifies test methods and minimum requirements for garments made from flexible materials which are designed to protect persons from heat and/or flame. Aprons, Coats, Gaiters, Overboots and Hoods used to protect against heat and flame are also within the scope of this document. All other types of protection for the head, hands and feet are excluded.
