Summary
This standard specifies the requirements for coatings of zinc that have been mechanically deposited on to fabricated metal articles to protect them from corrosion. It also describes the related test methods. NOTE Annex A describes the process of applying a metal coating that is called mechanical deposition. In this instance the metal applied is zinc.
