Summary
The document is the second part of a series of standards. The parts are: Part 1: Choice of a fixed means of access between two levels; Part 2: Working platforms and walkways; Part 3: Stairways, stepladders and guard-rails; Part 4: Fixed ladders. The document specifies safety requirements of working platforms and walkways. It contains also a listing of different methods of determining levels of slip-resistance. The following definitions are defined: 'flooring', 'walkway', 'working platform' and 'slip resistant surface'.
