DIN EN ISO 16032:2004-12

This European Standard specifies methods for measuring the sound pressure level from service equipment in buildings incorporated rigidly to building structures. The service equipment covered by this standard is e. g.: Sanitary installations, mechanical ventilation, heating and cooling equipment, lifts, rubbish chutes, boilers, blowers, pumps and other auxiliary equipment, and motor driven car park doors. The methods are suitable for rooms with volumes less than approximately 300 m3 in e. g. dwellings, hotels, schools, offices and hospitals. The standard is not in general intended for measurments in large auditoria and concert halls.
