Summary
This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of mesh length of fishing nets using a ruler. This part of the European Standard concerns passive gears as they are defined below in 3. Test may be carried out in both the dry and wet states, but tests in the wet state are considered to be particularly appropriate in indicating the behaviour of the netting in use.
