DIN EN ISO 17409:2016-09

This standard specifies electric safety requirements for conductive connection of electrically propelled road vehicles to an external electric power supply.This standard is applicable to category L6 and L7 defined by ECE regulations. This standard shall not exclude technology such as class II solutions. It does not apply to motorcycles and vehicles not primarily intended as road vehicles such as material handling trucks or fork-lifts. It does not provide comprehensive safety information for manufacturing, maintenance and repair personnel.The requirements when not connected to off-board equipment of the external electric power supply are specified in ISO 6469-3.
