This document deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events as listed in Clause 4, which are relevant to machines used to calibrate and/or to sand panels and/or linear work-pieces consisting of solid wood and material with similar physical characteristics to wood, gypsum boards and gypsum bounded fibreboards, fitted with an integrated feed and sanding belt(s) positioned over and/or under the work-piece level and working in the panel feed direction, hereinafter referred to as 'machines', when they are operated, adjusted and aintained as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer including reasonably foreseeable misuse. Loading and/or unloading is manual or automatic. Also transport, assembly, dismantling, disabling and scrapping phases are taken into account.
