Summary
This standard specifies methods for measurement, determination and declaration of the noise emission from portable and stationary compressors and vacuum pumps. It prescribes the loading and working conditions under which measurements are made. This includes methodes for measurement and determination of the noise emission expressed as: - the sound power level under specified laod conditions, - the emission sound pressure level under specified load conditions.

DIN EN ISO 2151 (2004-06) remains valid alongside this standard until 2009-12-28.
