Summary
This part of ISO 389 specifies reference equivalent threshold sound pressure levels (RETSPLs) of acoustic tests signals of short duration applicable to the calibration of audiometric equipment where such signals are used. NOTE Some notes on different parameters and their effects on threshold levels are given in Annex A. Preferred testconditions for determining hearing thresholds for standardization is referenced in the Bibliography.
