Summary
This International Standard describes two categories of hose impulse testing without flexing for rubber or plastic hose assemblies. Category 1 is high pressure testing for test pressures greater than 3 MPa and Category 2 is for test pressures from 1,5 MPa through 3 MPa. The test procedure is applicable to hydraulic hose assemblies that are subject to pulsating pressures in service and are contained within the product requirements.
