DIN EN ISO 80079-36:2012-08

This standard specifies the basic method and requirements for design, construction, testing and marking of non-electrical equipment and Ex Components intended for explosive atmospheres. This standard is also applicable to the design, construction, testing and marking of components, protective systems, devices and assemblies of these products that have their own potential ignition sources and are intended for explosive atmospheres. This standard does not specify requirements for safety, other than those directly related to the explosion risk.
