DIN EN ISO 898-6:2010-02

This document specifies mechanical and physical properties of nuts with fine pitch thread made of carbon steel and alloy steel when tested at an ambient temperature range of 10 °C to 35 °C. Nuts conforming to the requirements of this standard are evaluated at that ambient temperature range. They may not retain the specified mechanical and physical properties at elevated and/or lower temperatures. This part of ISO 898 applies to nuts made of carbon steel or alloy steel with fine pitch thread from M8x1 to M39x3, with triangular ISO metric thread according to ISO 68-1 and ISO 262, with height of a least 0,45 D, with a minimum outside diameter or width across flats of at least 1,45 D, able to mate with bolts, screws and studs with mechanical properties according to ISO 898-1.
