DIN EN ISO 9241-11:2016-01

This part of ISO 9241: - explains the concept of usability as an outcome of interaction; - identifies the fundamentals of usability; - provides a framework that can be used for understanding and applying usability; - provides definitions; and - explains the relationship of usability to other concepts. Specific methods for the application and evaluation of usability are not described or recommended. The concept of usability as described in ISO 9241-11 can be used in situations where a user interacts with a system (including a built environment), product or service or its output(s).
