Summary
This new version amends some mistakes in the ISO-original published in 2007. Mistakes were made in formulars and orthography. The technical content is identical with DIN EN ISO 9920:2007-10. DIN EN ISO 9920 specifies methods for estimating the thermal characteristics (resistance to dry heat loss and evaporative heat loss) in steady-state conditions for a clothing ensemble based on values for known garments, ensembles and textiles. The influence of body movement and air penetration on the thermal insulation and evaporative resistance is discussed.
