Summary
The document lays down the procedures for determining the contents of the constituents of cement that fall within the scope of DIN V ENV 197-1. To cary out the calculation for the contents of the cement constituents the following two procedures are described: the general method by selective dissolution (reference method), the method of analyses for cement with three constituents.

Gegenüber DIN V ENV 196-4:1993-11 wurden folgende Änderungen vorgenommen: a) Umwandlung der Vornorm in einen Fachbericht, b) Festlegungen aus der Vornorm ENV 196-4:1993 unter Berücksichtigung redaktioneller Änderungen in diesen Fachbericht übernommen.
