Measurement of radioactivity in the environment - Air - Part 3: Radon-222: Spot measurement methods of the potential alpha energy concentration of short-lived radon decay products in the atmospheric environment (ISO/DIS 11665-3:2009)
Summary
This International Standard outlines guidance for measuring radon-222 activity concentration and the potential alpha energy concentration of its short-lived decay products in the air. Part 3 of series ISO 11665 gives indications for spot measuring, after sampling at a given point for several minutes, the potential alpha energy concentration of short-lived radon-222 decay products in the air to make a rapid assessment and the conditions of use for the measuring devices.
