This International Standard outlines guidance for measuring radon-222 activity concentration and the potential alpha energy concentration of its short-lived decay products in the air. Part 4 of series ISO 11665 gives indications for measuring the average activity concentration of the radon-222 in the air, based on easy-to-use and low-cost passive sampling, and the conditions of use for the measuring devices.
