Summary
This part of DIN ISO 18589 series specifies the general requirements to carry out radionuclides tests on soil sample, including sampling. This may concern soils from gardens and farmland, urban or industrial sites, as well as soil not affected by human activities. This standard is to be used in conjunction with other parts of of DIN ISO 18589 series that deal with specific aspects or methods.
Notes
A transition period, as set out in DIN ISO 18589-1 (2020-10), exists until 2020-12-31.
