Summary
This part of DIN ISO 18589 series specifies method specific to the measurement of gamma-emitting radionuclides using gamma spectrometry. This non destructive method, applicable to large volume samples up to about 3000 cm3 covers the determination in a single measurement of all the gamma emitters present for which the photon energy is between 10 keV to 3 MeV.
Notes
A transition period, as set out in DIN ISO 18589-3 (2015-10), exists until 2016-06-30.
