Summary

This document specifies a method of testing the ability of full-flow lubricating oil filters for internal combustion enginess to withstand an internal pressure surge under cold start conditions of the engine, and pressure variations during engine operation. These tests are intended for application to spin-on type filters and enclosure filters with a flow-rate up to 100 l/min.
