Summary
This standard determines the methods of test for the definition of the static burst pressure test for full-flow lubricating oil filters for internal combustion engines. These methods of test shall prove that the filter will resist a prescribed static pressure. Furthermore the size of the burst pressure and the corresponding damage shall be determined.
