DIN ISO 6115:1989-09

The standard specifies the minimum requirements for the design, calculation and euqipment with protection and safety devices, which are necessary for operation as well as for the protection of operators and the winch itself. Moreover, indications on additional equipment are given, which can be agreed upon in the contract. These trawl winches are classified by the kind of drive, nominal size and number and arrangement of drums. The nominal size corresponds to the drum load.
