Summary

The multilink procedures exists as a sublayer of the data link layer of the OSI basic reference model. Multilink procedures provide the means for scheduling a group of parallel data links. Data units are accepted from the network layer, delivered to single data links and after successful transmission, recordered and delivered to the network layer.
