Summary

The Technical Report specifies procedures for the physical weighing of sales packaging and thus specifies the rules for determining the weight of packaging. Material consideration is given to the following groups: - glass; - board, paper and cardboard; - tinplate; - aluminium; - composites; - plastics; - other materials (eg, wood, textiles, earthenware). The DIN Technical Report contains no provisions in the assessment of packaging properties.
