DIN SPEC 14601:2017-06

The requirements, especially the acoustic parameters for a unique acoustic warning and indicating signal for emergency situations and other dangers for civilisation for example the use in smoke detectors or other devices are specified in this document. This warning and indicating signal serves as a signal of alert and as a call for turning on any radio devices or comparable media (e. g. TV, Internet), in order to receive any further information in case of disaster or other dangers. This document was developed by the working committee NA 031-02-14 AA 'Alarm devices - mirror committee of CEN/TC 72/WG 3' of DIN-Firefighting and Fire Protection Standards Committee (FNFW).
