DIN SPEC 20000-202:2016-03

This prestandard specifies requirements for the characteristics stated in DIN EN 13969, DIN EN 13967, DIN EN 14967 and DIN EN 14909 relating to the application of flexible sheets for waterproofing for sealing below-ground structures, interiors, tanks and pools according to DIN 18533, DIN 18534 and DIN 18535. It also lays down the relevant product designations and abbreviations. The prestandard applies in conjunction with DIN EN 13969 and DIN EN 13967 for waterproofing sheets for basements and used as protection against water exerting or not exerting hydrostatic pressure as well as DIN EN 14967 and DIN EN 14909 for damp-proof courses in or beneath walls. Clause 5 of the prestandard specifies requirements relating to the application of products subject to building regulations. In addition, designations and further requirements for waterproof sheeting used in accordance with DIN 18533, DIN 18534 and DIN 18535 are given in clause 4, Tables 1 to 3.
